I currently own a netbook as my primary device. Although obviously having used them, Ive never personally owned a desktop or laptop so other than a disk drive, I havent ever really felt like I was missing something by having a netbook instead. My main reason for getting a netbook was that it was cheap, and very portabl e which was great for starting university. Ive had it for over 2 years and overall I dont have any major complaints about the speed or memory of it. For the average person who uses computers for mainly web browsing, watching videos etc. And the occasional essay or whatever, netbook are great. However Im now doing the unthinkable and thinking of getting a tablet I needed a new laptop and I decided a tablet would be less expensive solution for my needs. However Im the kind of person that simply must have the presence of a physical keyboard but also like the practicality of touch screen. (My current smartphone has both and I love it). Therefore I was planning on buying a built-in usb keyboard case for the tablet, so I could use the keyboard for when I need to create a word document , and then just separate the tablet from the case when I dont need to use it. I dont do any heavy tasks and up to now my phone and netbook have provided me with almost all of my computer needs. Hence why I feel buying a tablet would give me the best of both worlds. Despite my general dislike for people buying tablets, I think as long as I dont settle for an iPad, I can let this one slide.
